Focus on skill development, no league games, no league

There are two sessions per week for U9:
- Jr NBA Skills session, one hour
- 3on3, eventually 4on4, one hour (optional)
Girls and boys are in separate sessions

One practice per week
Boys will practice Monday or Thursday night (tentative, pending on gym availability)
Girls will practice Tuesday or Wednesday night (tentative, pending on gym availability)
One league game per week on Saturday
Games are played 4 on 4 full court on an 8.5 foot net

Moncton Basketball Association will run player evaluation session(s) to help create balanced teams within each division.
Dates for Evaluation are still to be determined

Moncton Basketball Association will run a provincial program for U11, U13 and U14 age groups.
To tryout for a provincial team you must:
- Be registered with the Moncton Hawks (register here)
- Register and pay $25 for the provincial team tryouts (register for tryout here)
Tryouts will take place in September. Dates will be communicated to all who are registered with MBA.
Provincial program teams will train 3x per week.
There is an additional Provincial Fee of $175, payable once teams are selected. This includes admin fee, provincial tournament registration and uniform. Tournament, travel, and officials will be an additional fee for each team.
